Cloudy is a young artist who is influenced by the inner-city culture surrounding him and he reciprocates that influence back into his music. From showing an interest in music from a young age and listening to most genres, he’s blessed with the musical intelligence to deliver over a range of genres with Afrobeats/Afroswing being his strong point.
His latest track ‘Superman’ is a mixture of the new school Afrobeats sound and old school Fuji – when you listen to the instruments being used. Cloudy has stated that he came up with the lyrics from just sitting in his chair and constantly saying “superman”. He then went on to record the track in his bedroom during the lockdown period and the melody became infectious around his household.
