Paired with the explosive Amapiano driven lead single ‘Evil Receive’, Nigerian based maverick and trendsetter Shallipopi gears towards the highly anticipated debut album ʻPresido La Plutoʼ, which is set to leave quite the impression. Leading to this pivotal moment with a consistent string of back to back hit tracks including “Ex Convict” and Summer hit “Elon Music”, Shallipopi has tapped on the shoulders of industry heavyweights Odumodublvck, Focalistic and Tekno for appearances on the project,

“Presidio La Pluto” walks us through a tastefully infectious sonic story, pacing through Amapiano inspired numbers, and smooth Afrobeat inspired tones, marking Shallipopi’s unique flavour across both spaces. Working with producers XXX, XXX, XXX on the album, this project sees Shallipopi nod at Odumodublvck, Zerry DL, Tekno and Focalistic for feature support to bring this project to life. Hailing from Nigeria, Shallipopi has cra�ed a unique niche for himself as an exceptionally talented singer, captivating TikTok sensation, and creator of the infectious “pluto” slang that has taken both the digital sphere and the music scene by storm. With the current support behind him from his peers, Shallipopi is set to be an artist best described as a trailblazer across the industry.

Touching on the making of the album, Shallipopi shares,”Presido La Pluto was inspired by my desire to be consistent for the people who welcomed my music and choose to call me their own.I am fuelled by the constant love and support from Plutomanians worldwide. Best known as the Plutomania Papi, Shallipopi first made his mark in 2021 with the release of his single “Gra Gra,” a track that swi�ly gained viral momentum across various music and social media platforms. However, it is 2023 that has seen Shallipopi have a positively whirlwind year thanks to his viral Afrobeats hit, “Elon Musk.” The song caught the attention of many fans, new listeners and tastemakers back in March, which was Shallipopi’s first song that reached Nigeriaʼs Daily Top 100, and paved the way for Shallipopiʼs big breakthrough.

During the Summer, Shallipopi secured his first number 1 in Nigeria with “Ex-Convict,” and was named an Apple Music ʻUp Nextʼ artist in Nigeria. Afrobeats star Fireboy DML later hopped on a remix of breakout hit “Elon Musk,” which helped Shallipopiʼs streams soar worldwide.
