Muni Long shares new single “Make Me Forget”
The single follows her global viral track “Made For Me” and the recent “Made For Me Remix” featuring Mariah Carey
The track notably revolves around an interpolation of the D’Angelo classic “Untitled (How Does It Feel)” punctuated by finger-snaps and a slinky bassline
Muni announced “Make Me Forget” with a teaser on Instagram, commenting:
“To me, it’s like a warm bath. It’s a love letter. It says, ‘You’re not perfect. We’ve got a lot of things to work on, but can we focus on the amazing feeling we have when we’re together?’ I’m not the person to encourage you to leave. We need more peace and joy.”
Everything is setting the stage for her forthcoming album due in 2024
Muni Long’s previous hit “Made For Me” also continues to make waves. Thus far, it cracked the Top 40 of the UK OCC & the Top 10 of the UK & Global Shazam Charts. The music video has also nearly 40 million YouTube views
