DarkoVibes ft. Mr Eazi
“Come My Way”As the musical landscape in Ghana continues to shift, there are a few standouts tapped to take over for the next generation and Darkovibes is without a doubt one of them. He has garnered regional success with solo singles like “Mercy” and “Tomorrow,” and has been an integral player in the rise of La Même Gang , a collective of musicians based in Ghana who are ushering in the new wave of alternative Afrobeats.
Darkovibes’ solo music is a potpourri of genres. His effortless ability to coalesce many languages–English, Pidgin, Ga and Twi–into a contemporary sound has earned him co-signs from some of Africa’s biggest artists, including WizKid, Mr. Eazi, R2bees, and Stonebwoy.
As he preps to release his first solo album, Darkovibes is bringing to bear a successful formula of fusing his tried and tested sound with experimental approaches that will continue to push the envelope of Afrobeats music.
